143 shunted the wagons into the siding at the south end of Rhyd Ddu and following a few words a bottle champagne was opened to mark the start of volunteering on Phase 4. The group then proceeded to unload a number of sleepers from the stack brought up on the train; once the passengers had returned to the train for the journey back, the sleepers were put back on the wagon...
